Ethics
LINKS is committed to upholding good practices in academic publishing, acting in accordance with ethical standards to ensure compliance with best editorial practices and adherence to the highest professional standards.
Authors are responsible for ensuring the originality of their academic papers, as well as transparency in the research process and the accuracy of their results.
Likewise, authors must clearly indicate and reference the sections corresponding to other authors and works on which they have based their article or any part of it, in order to avoid any accusation of plagiarism.
Submitted works must correspond to the thematic-research areas detailed in the “About the Journal” section.
Authors must comply with the deadlines established by the Editorial Committee to adjust the article according to the reviewers’ suggestions, when applicable.
Members of the Editorial Committee commit to objectively analyzing all submissions received and to following a procedure that ensures quality and transparency. Before sending works for evaluation, a prior assessment will be carried out to determine whether the manuscript meets the guidelines established by the journal.
It is the responsibility of the Editorial Committee to select suitable reviewers for each article, ensure confidentiality and anonymity throughout the process, and meet the deadlines established.
The Editorial Committee must contribute to the journal’s reputation and acceptance by publishing original and/or high-quality material.
Reviewers carry out the peer review process voluntarily, with the mission of contributing to the improvement of the quality of the manuscripts through an objective and constructive evaluation. They commit to following the evaluation process and criteria indicated, as well as the timelines established by LINKS.
Reviewers must maintain confidentiality regarding the original content of the articles until their publication. In the event of any conflict of interest that may prevent them from conducting an appropriate and objective evaluation, they must immediately inform the Editorial Committee.
