This article presents a review of the book Brave New Words by Salman Khan, founder of Khan Academy. The work explores the potential impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on education, highlighting the opportunities and challenges presented by this emerging technology. Khan argues that AI has the potential to democratize personalized education, foster greater student engagement, and reduce teachers’ administrative workload. At the same time, he addresses critical challenges such as the risks of plagiarism, data privacy concerns, and the potential erosion of essential human skills. The author proposes an approach where AI does not replace but rather complements human efforts, ensuring that core educational values are preserved. Through concrete examples, such as the development of Khanmigo, and reflections on the role of technology in the classroom, Khan offers an
optimistic yet cautious vision of the future of AI-powered education.
