The UTEC International Journal adopts an Institutional Open Access Policy for its published content, based on the principle that all knowledge generated with public funds should benefit society and be freely available for use, circulating openly, at no cost, and without restrictions.

This journal provides open access to all its content under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0). Users are free to view, download, store, print, search, index, and create links to the texts, provided that the original source is cited and proper authorship is acknowledged in all instances.

Authors are free to archive their paper in institutional repositories or on their personal websites, as long as the publication in LINKS is mentioned with the corresponding details.

If citing an academic paper from the journal, it must be done according to APA guidelines:
