Resumo

La logística desempeña un papel estratégico en el desarrollo regional y la competitividad empresarial, ampliando su enfoque hacia la sostenibilidad económica, social y ambiental. Tecnologías como IoT, blockchain y big data mejoran la eficiencia, trazabilidad y resiliencia de las cadenas de suministro, beneficiando sectores desde la agroindustria hasta la logística urbana y el reciclaje. Esta evolución comprende la transición de la Industria 4.0 a la 5.0, donde innovación, digitalización y co-creación de valor se alinean con el bienestar humano y la protección ambiental.

En este contexto, el programa de Ingeniería Logística de UTEC está comprometido con la formación de profesionales capaces de enfrentar tendencias sostenibles en cadenas de abastecimiento. Las líneas de investigación propuestas incluyen el desarrollo económico local, la cooperación internacional, la minería de procesos, el uso eficiente de la energía, la logística inversa, el diseño de cadenas resilientes con criterios 3BL, la logística humanitaria en atención a las crisis y la educación en ingeniería como motor de cambio cultural y tecnológico.
